Pixel Lighting is used with digital pixel LED controllers that allow you to program and fully control either individual LEDs or groups of LEDs, depending on the product. This particular level of control allows pixel lighting products to produce an amazing range of lighting effects and patterns. Given the digital nature of LED pixel lighting products, the pixel controller has to be able to communicate with the pixel lighting in the correct data format. 

With our RGB SMD5050 pixel strip (60W per roll), each RGB LED pixel (12W per meter) can be individually customized, so you can set the color for each one to create any number of custom visual effects and scenarios for creative lighting design. This is the beauty of pixel lighting technology.

 High-Intensity LEDs: SMD 5050 Chips are just barely behind the 3528 chips in popularity. However, 5050 chips are typically 3 times brighter than 3528 chips. Because they're brighter, strips with 5050 chips are typically used for what is known as 'task lighting' (usually with cool white lights), and commonly used underneath kitchen cabinets where that high-intensity light will help you see what you're doing. 

 Adhesive backing & flexibility: Featuring a Peel-And-Stick self-adhesive tape and the flexibility of the strip allows you to install your LED strip on any given smooth and clean surface. Please refer to the manual or datasheet for connection diagramming, if you are unsure, it is recommended that the installation is done by a professional.

 Cuttable: The light strip is manufactured to be cut to any desired length up to 16.4ft without losing functionality. It can be cut into segments of 1-LED (every 0.65in | 1.66cm) at the marked sections and be assembled by simple soldering or you can use our connectors for easy installation.

 Ideal beam angle and lifespan: With its 120-degree beam angle, smooth and even light spread, it is ideal for home and business lighting decoration providing a linear or perimeter effect. It provides high brightness, with low power consumption, and with up to a 30,000 hour’s long life span.

Tips before buying:

 When comparing LED strip lighting between companies, if both competing strips are using the same chips, look at how many LEDs are on the strip and look for lumen output (luminous flux, the higher it is, the brighter it will be)  to determine brightness. 

 Pay attention to how many LEDs there are per foot or meter. 

 When searching for bright LED strip lights, make sure you compare apples to apples, not all LED strips are made in the same way and with the same data specs.

Note:

■ This product must ONLY be used with a DC 5V power supply. The voltage must be the same as the voltage required by the LED strip. If it is lower, the intensity of the strip will be lower than it should. If it is greater than required, it can burn the LED Strip.

■ You can use a power supply with a current and power consumption (watts) values ​​equal to or greater than the total consumption of the LED strip, but not with values ​​lower than the total consumption of the strip as it would damage the operation of the same.

■ DO NOT expose this Strip to sunlight because of UV damages.

■ DO NOT bend this LED Strip on a ratio under 15 mm / 0.59 in.
