Designed to illuminate spaces evenly and homogeneously and offer comfortable light. Replace CFL energy-saving lamps, obsolete and environmentally damaging technology, with the new high-efficiency LED downlights or ceiling lights, which benefit from their durability and instant lighting, providing up to 100% of luminosity.
The downlights are installed in false ceilings that illuminate vertically downwards with a wide 120° beam angle, providing great lighting to rooms and with low consumption. Downlights are recommended to be placed away from walls in order to take better advantage of their lighting possibilities. Although this depends on the light intensity -lumens, (the higher the total value of lumens, the higher the brightness it emits), not the power consumption -watts, it is usual to place them separated with a distance of 4.96 feet between each other.
The first downlights had halogen bulbs to illuminate, but due to their high consumption, they were replaced by low consumption bulbs. With the development of LED lighting, LED downlights are now used. Its main advantage is that they have a higher lifespan than traditional ones, reaching an approximate of 30,000 hours. Which is approximately ten years in duration, with a use of eight hours a day of domestic use. In addition, they have an instant on and off that does not harm their lifespan.
Highlights:
High-quality Color and Light Intensity: Our Cool White downlight with a color temperature of 6,000°K emits bright and vivid white light, especially suited for work areas where high color rendering is not required. Its light intensity of 3,000 lumens guarantees a high emission of brightness or light to light the desired environment evenly.
Elegant design: Its parabolic reflector, in addition to guaranteeing great light diffusion, contributes to its elegant design. Its simple and elegant design is suitable for use in halls, kitchens, offices and commercial premises, among others.
Recessed Spotlights Vs. Downlights: Recessed spotlights are characterized in that they offer a concentrated beam of light as they have a smaller focus angle. They are suitable for illuminating a specific object, but not for spaces that need a lot of light. However, LED downlights have a larger opening angle and emit diffused light throughout the room, making them ideal for kitchens and bathrooms.
Natural light: Downlights differ according to the type of bulb they use, which can be fluocompact or LED. The fluocompacts are those that emit a general and open light, although they slightly distort the colors. The light emitted by LEDs is more natural and allows continuous on and off without affecting their performance, which is why they are used in bathrooms, kitchens or staircases. They are used, above all, in places that must be illuminated for hours.
Energy-saving: The energy-saving achieved with LED downlights can be of 50% compared to fluorescent lamps and 80% compared to incandescent bulbs and the ideal substitute for traditional halogens, with an energy efficiency of 90%. This is because they work directly at a range from 100V to 240V, without the need of transformers that increase electricity consumption.
Easy application: The installation is simple and straightforward, its direct connection to on a range from 100V to 240V and the adjustment made on the false ceiling using springs provided in the luminaire. The unit is compact, so it already has built-in LEDs and includes the respective LED transformer.
Multiple applications: Due to their size, design, power and low consumption, these LED luminaires are ideal for lighting shop windows in stores and shopping malls, museums, bar counters, showcases, kitchens, bathrooms, stairs, etc.
