The most important highlight of a GU10 or MR16 LED bulb is that their size is the same as traditional halogens so they fit right into your current lighting fixtures. They give you a bright white lighting effect, projects a crisp light that does not affect or alter colors, and don’t heat up like other low-energy bulbs. They reduce your yearly energy costs by up to 90% and they have a lifespan of up to 20,000 hours. GU10 and MR16 spot bulbs are usually used in recessed downlights and surface-mounted spot fittings.
Both the GU10 and MR16 light bulb spot fittings are available in two different models, a fixed or adjustable spot. The adjustable lamp holder is called a tilt fitting and is usually used in specific locations as it is mounted on a gimbal so it can change its angle to be facing the desired direction and point to a specific area or surface.
